Blog Vacation...

I've decided to take a little "vacay" from the blog.  Don't get me wrong - I love the blog and I love that so many of you love the blog.  But every so often I just need a break from it to recharge my creative juices.  Plus, I'm busy with work and the boys and I just don't have a lot of time to post right now.  So I'm going to take the rest of the year off, enjoy the holidays, and spend my evenings relaxing with the hubs.  Don't worry, I will take lots of pictures of our holiday memories and post after the new year.  You know I can't stay away for too long.  And with the boys being such fun ages for all the Christmas festivities I'm sure I will have tons of adorable pics to post when I return!  I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving and magical Christmas.  Much Love!

I just wanted to leave you with a few pictures of my loves frolicking on the beach last weekend...

CARS LAND!

So we finally took Jack to the new Cars Land about a month ago (cue the sob story about how I am so busy and never have time to post so this is WAY over due, yadda, yadda, yadda).  Anyhoo, even though this is late I had to post it because as you all know Jack is completely obsessed with CARS and has been since he was like 18 months old.  Needless to say, Jack was in CARS heaven!!  Disney really outdid themselves here and created this land to look EXACTLY like the movie.  We literally felt like we had stepped into Radiator Springs!  Even I was in awe.

The coolest part were the life-sized cars from the movie - Lightening, Mater, Red, DJ.  They moved and talked just like the cars in the movie - very cool!  They actually scared Jack a little bit.  I honestly think he was a little overwhelmed by seeing all of his favorite characters come to life.  But it was an awesome day and we had so much fun exploring, dancing with Disney Characters and hanging with my family.  We also celebrated my niece Amelia's 2nd birthday there with a Disney Princess lunch.  Disney really does have a way of making everything magical!

Halloween 2012

Here are the pictures of my little superheroes on Halloween.  Of course, Jack had to be Batman so we dressed Gavin as Spiderman so they could be a dynamic duo!  We started off the day at Jack's school with a Halloween parade and party.  Then later that night we went trick-or-treating with our friends in the hood.  It was such a fun night.  Gavin and I were pooped by 7pm but I think Christian and Jack could have gone all night!  I'm not sure who had more fun...Jack or Christian!

Jack celebrated at school with his buddies Ironman, Fireman, Batman and Captain America....aka, Mason, Gavin, Koko, Luca and Joshua...

Gavin loves hanging out with his older bro and his friends...

As soon as daddy got home he put on his Hulk shirt and the boys grabbed their pumpkins...

My Superheroes ready for action...

Before we went out we had a pre-party at the neighbors and the kiddos gathered for a group photo.  The gang....Jaxon, Kendall, Jack, Gavin, Ryan, Mason, Everett and Ella...

And they're off...

The older kids were pros at TOTing...

Gavin was tired and needed a lift from dad...

But Jack could have gone til midnight!  He kept saying, "which house is next mom!!"

As soon as we got home we surveyed the goods!  Lots of chocolate for mom...yummo!

Gavin stuffed his face with some fruit snacks.  Could he possibly fit any more in that tiny mouth of his...

Oh and he stole this lollipop right out of Jack's hands.  "Yah, I got your tootsie pop!  Whatcha gonna do about it?"

Pumpkin Patch

We had a super fun Sunday at the Irvine Park Pumpkin Patch with our friends.  And we picked the perfect day to go - it was chilly and overcast so it felt just like fall.  The kiddos had a blast and we had just as much fun watching them enjoy the pumpkins, corn maze, haunted house and pony rides.  But the highlight of the day for all of us was watching Jack drive Ella in the mini John Deer tractor.  It was too cute for words!  We felt like we just witnessed their first date.   Here are some pictures of our autumn festivities...

Since it was cold out it was a lot easier to get the boys to wear their matching cable knit sweaters.  Don't they look adorable!

The best pic of the kids we could get...they weren't really feeling the photos that day...

The old married couple....see how he's already acting like he's not listening to her!

John Deer ride! The perfect pupils paying attention to the instructions...

At first they were all buiseness...

But then they really got into it...

Jack was such a good driver and Ella loved every minute of it!  Her little grin is priceless...

Ella loved the pony ride...she was such a pro!

Jack chickened out but we already paid for it so we threw Gavin on the pony.  He loved it!
