I just had some serious deja vu when I wrote that title....it seems that I have written it twice before! But this time it's a little more exciting because not only am I half way done with this pregnancy but I am half way to NEVER being pregnant again. Can I get a woo-hoo?! I'm not sure if it's my age, or the fact that I have 2 other kids to care for, or maybe a combo of both, but my little princess is kicking my royal heiny! I'm always tired, so achy and just plain over it. And this angel never stops moving! If her behavior is any indication of how she's going to be when she gets here we are really in for it. The ultra sound tech who did our 20 week scan today even made mention of how much she wiggles..."so not like a little girl!" My theory is that she can already hear how wild her big brothers are so she's in there doing exercises to make her strong enough to keep up with them!
But aside from me just being a whiny brat, everything else about the pregnancy has been great - every test and ultrasound has been perfect! As I mentioned we had our 20 week anatomy scan today and our sweet pea is growing right on track with a beating heart, functioning brain, gorgeous spine and 10 little fingers and toes. And I made sure it was still a girl....and it is! But I still won't believe it until I actually see her. It's very surreal to be having a girl after 2 boys. Christian and I are already so in awe of her. Daddy even got a little choked up today during the ultrasound just thinking about having a girl. Man, she's going to be so spoiled - he's never going to say no to her. If he can't even handle seeing her in an ultrasound what's he going to do when she bats those big green eyes and long eyelashes at him. Oh brother - we're in trouble!
The picture above is from a very rare night out with the hubs....with full hair and make-up and a clean shirt, which is so not the norm for me these days. Do I look like Princess Kate? Ugg - it's so cruel to be pregnant with such a beautiful woman and all her amazing outfits! Kinda makes my sweat pants look shabby - haha! Anyway, That was at 20 weeks but I am actually going to be 21 weeks tomorrow. So 19 weeks and counting...if I even make it that long! I know she needs a LOT more time to cook but I am so ready to meet her! I know I also owe you a blog about my precious boys and what they are up to, but I will be out of town for a week for work so check back in about 10 days or so. Talk to you then...
