Typically, when my kiddos turn one, I set up a whole family shoot, sometimes with the grandparents. It's a pretty big production and takes a lot of time and money. You definitely get what you pay for so I never balk at the cost (Christian might balk a little)! But I just couldn't bring myself pay all that money and take all the time to pick the perfect outfits for everyone and hassle with the location, editing and ordering just to have little miss Dylan cry through the entire thing. Anyone remember the Target photo incident?! But I definitely wanted to document her at one year, so I grabbed Joey's fancy camera and took Dylan to a few parks in our hood. I snapped away while Christian made her smile and laugh. She did such an amazing job modeling for us! We were both tired and sweaty by the end of it but it was worth it. I hope you enjoy our princess as much as we do!
Just a happy little family making our way through life, marriage and parenthood...with lots of love and laughter.

Dylan's 1 Year Pics
I figured I outta post the rest of Dylan's 1 year pictures before she starts kindergarten so here they are! In case you missed her round up post, I should mention that I took these pictures on my own. And if I do say so myself, I think they turned out pretty darn good. I've done enough of these photo shoots to know what I like and how to capture certain angles so I was confident that I could get at least a few keepers. I wish I had some of the really cool filter lenses and editing capabilities but I worked with what I had and I definitely got a few gems.

12 Years and Counting...
The David Family by the numbers....14 1/2 years together, 12 years married, 6 countries visited, 3 kids created, 2 states lived, 1 amazing adventure! I never would have thought this crazy guy at the river would become my husband but now I could never imagine a life without him. After all these years I love him more now than ever, and I still really like him a lot. It has been quite a crazy, beautiful ride and the best part is that we've only just begun! Happy 12th Anniversary to my baby daddy and very best friend. Love you babe!
