A Year in Review

Here's a preview of Jack's one year photo shoot. I may be a little biased but I think this kid is pretty darn handsome! I can't wait to see the rest of the pictures!

Last week we had Jack's one year well-baby visit. He's doing fantastic and continues to grow at a rapid pace. We're still in awe at how huge our child is but, truthfully, we take pride in having a big boy! Well, this visit didn't disappoint - he's nearly 28 pounds and 32.5 inches, still hanging in the 95th percentile! Pair this with Jack's fearless attitude and we think we have a professional athlete on our hands!

It's become a fun thing for Christian and I to bet on how much he's grown since his last visit. (I won this time, if anyone was wondering). Anyway, this gave me the idea to post a blog with all his stats and milestone's from the past year. Since the blog has replaced an actual baby book, Jack can look back on this and see his first year in review. Now if only I could figure out a way to get his first lock of hair into the blog :)

So there ya have it folks - Jack's First Year in review. What a wonderfully joyful ride it's been. And the best part is we get to do this with him for the next 17 years!!

That said, I'm actually going to take a few weeks off from the blog. Don't get me wrong, I love the blog and I love that you all love the blog. It's so much fun to do and I enjoy sharing Jack with everyone....especially our loved ones far away. But it is a lot of work. And Christian and I have a busy few weeks ahead so I've decided to take a small blog break. We're all headed to NYC next week and I'm sure I will be itching to share those pics so I can't stay away too long.
