Summertime in the OC

Our first summer back in SoCal has been quite a blast!  After 9 summers of heat and humidity in Georgia, it's so nice to be back in the land of near-perfect weather in Orange County.  So we've definitely made the most of it and have been spending all of our free time outdoors or just having fun with the fam.  I have so many pictures and no time to do that many blog posts, so I am putting them all in one!  Here's what we've been up to during our summer of fun...

We hit the beach...

Jack surveyed the waves with dad...

Then he decided to go it alone...

And he got wet...

So he decided to make some sandcastles with dad...

Gavin wasn't so sure about the sand...

So he decided to just take in the view...

 And just look adorable....

The boys rocked their matching board shorts and rash guards...

So we could go to the pool....A LOT!

Gavin formed his Diaper Posse....currently 4 members strong...

Mom dressed the boys alike for the Orange County Fair...



 

Gav got a lift from mom at the Fair...

We took  few rides with Jack...

Jack drove a pink car...

Then got his boy-card back with an orange monster truck...

We ate...

We ate A LOT!  Not pictured are the deep fried oreos, cinnamon rolls and chocolate dipped ice cream cone...

And somewhere in the middle of all this fun, Jack landed a few summer jobs...

And because summer is so tough on my kids...they slept...
