Ok, so these are actually supposed to be Dylan's 6 Month pics, but seeing as how I didn't get around to them until March, they turned into her 9 month ones. Either way, I was super excited to get her in the studio because I had some really great ideas about the shoot. First off, I loved how both of the boys' studio shoots turned out so I had some high hopes for Dylan (my first mistake). I also wanted to recreate some photos that I had taken around her age because I love sentimental stuff like that. So I spent lots of time shopping for the perfect outfits, shoes, bows, etc for her and the boys. But photo day was not a good one and my two youngest didn't quite cooperate and pretty much cried the entire time. Story of my life, right? I was so upset but now I can look back and laugh. These pictures will definitely be a source of entertainment in the future. But before the chaos ensued I did manage to capture a few gems...
Here are the pictures I tried to recreate. But seeing as how Dylan wouldn't smile or clap like I did....and she looks NOTHING like me....I didn't quite get the results I was looking for. BUT...I still think she looks absolutely precious. But at least she wasn't crying yet...
Awe, my Jack! Such a happy little ham! I always say he's never met a camera he didn't like. Seriously, the minute they start shooting he just lights up. I love this kid...
Another great one. None of us even told him to cross his arms. He did that all on his own. Such a natural...
Before Gavin lost it, he did take a few great shots. I just want to squeeze him!
I seriously love this face!! And I love all that curly blond hair...
I had to throw this extra one in there because I LOVE this smile. He always looks like he's up to something...
A little more drama...
Ok, I'm just going to crawl away now...
And then it goes from bad to worse when Gavin joined in the tear-fest...
Poor Jack, he was trying so hard to make it work. You can his strained smile as he tries to hold Dylan and Gavin together. This pretty much sums up my three little kiddos. But boy do I love them!
